Where do I start with this pretty rustic country Sussex wedding!
I met Rozie and Al in Arundel a few months before their wedding to discuss their plans and from the start I loved the sound of the country wedding they were both planning.
The day itself was perfect and having popped into the barn to capture a few early photos ( and watching all the house martins that were nesting in the eves of the barn) we drove over to the pretty village of Slindon to capture Rozie and her Girls getting ready at Mill Lane house, a very pretty B& B. A quick drive back to Arundel and to the beautiful St Nicholas’s Church for their ceremony, which was full of personal readings, lovely songs and lots of love.
After the ceremony and some photos at the church we all headed back to the barn and for the amazing reception, catered wonderfully by Pink Pig Catering. Rozie and Al opted for catered picnic with pretty baskets on each table to share and the food was delicious.
After the reception the skies clouded over and threatened with rain, but the atmosphere was amazing and after some lovely couple shots down a country lane, I let Rozie and Al re-join their guests for a fab hog roast and left them dancing the night away with their guests to their band, Strobe.
The attention to detail that both Rozie and Al put into their wedding was just beautiful and it was an absolute pleasure to capture their day for them. Here are some of my favourites…
